The Average Heli-Ski Day with Alaska Rendezvous

Whether you are a snowboarder or skier, a typical day of heli-skiing includes 20,000 to 30,000 of vertical feet of descent; as our staff of experienced heli-ski guides drops you on peaks with elevations up to 6,800 feet and descents of up to 5,000 vertical feet. The scale and expanse of terrain in the Chugach mountains, combined with the massive amount of annual snowfall (30-80 feet per year) cannot be experienced anywhere else in the world.

Unique Location and Facilities

We offer a unique location past Thompson Pass and facilities for heli-skiing in Alaska, and can access three distinct zones with over 3,500 square miles of skiable terrain. Valdez is home to the original big mountain experience, and our heli-ski guides and pilots bring their vast experience and knowledge to make your trip safe, fun and memorable. To put it simply, we have more terrain, taller mountains and better weather than other heli-skiing operations in Alaska.
